Theodore Hickman

Waynesville, NC-Theodore D. Hickman, age 68, of 130 Shingle Cove Road, died Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Woodbine, New Jersey, he had lived in Haywood County since 1989. He was the son of the late Edward and Gladys Moore Hickman. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Moore and Leslie Hickman and a sister, Judy Chance. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a plumber and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen Tinklepaugh Hickman; three daughters, Deborah Dunbracco and her husband, Dwight, of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, Denise Valeri and her husband, Louis, of N. Cape May, NJ, and Diani Caranna and her husband, Joseph, of Maggie Valley, NC; a son, Theodore Tinklepaugh and his wife, Kimberly, of Maggie Valley, NC; three sisters, Barbara Hickman and Doris Whilden of NJ and Janice Rheppard of PA; eight brothers, Edward Hickman of IL, and David, John, Gary, Larry, Tommy, Dennis, and Ronald Hickman, all of NJ; and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Meghan, Louis, and Angelique.
