Theodore Moll

Maggie Valley, Theodore "Ted" Moll, age 73, of 2085 Laurel Ridge Road, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at his residence. A native of Hammonton, New Jersey and prior resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he had lived in Haywood County for the past 18 years. He was the son of the late Elmer and Bertha Simpson Moll. He was a US Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, where he specialized in Cryptography. He was self-employed in the communication industry and was a ham radio operator for many years (N4GKA). He is survived by his wife, Victoria Ann "Vicki" Moll; three sons, Todd Anthony Moll and his wife, Lisa, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Justin Scott Moll and his wife, Jennifer, of Maggie Valley, and Terry Allen Moll of Melbourne, Florida; one sister, Ann L. Squirrell and her husband, Robert, of Maggie Valley; two grandchildren, Tyler A. and Sarah E. Moll, both of Ft. Lauderdale; one nephew, William Hill of Waynesville; mother and father-in-law, Florence and Richard Scott of Maggie Valley; aunt Mary and uncle Al Sebring of Waynesville; along with the love of extended family in New England as well as many dear friends and neighbors. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice in memory of Ted Moll, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
