Thomas Mack Moody

Tom Mack Moody passed away, Monday, December 16, 2024, at Charles George VA Medical Center.

Tom was a native to Haywood County and the son to the late William and Nell Lemmings Moody. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorla Bryson Moody, a daughter, Michele Moody, and brother, Freddie Moody.

Tom was in the US Navy Veteran and the owner of Moody Insurance Agency and Top Notch Log Homes.

Tom was a member of Home Builder Association, was a life member NRA, avid gun collector, and enjoyed working and giving to the community.

Tom was survived by his two daughters Aneesa Moody (Robert Davenport), Misti Hensley (Dave); two sisters Linda Whitmire (Milton), Mary Ann Harris; brother William Hugh Moody (Peggy).

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesville with Pastor Carl Peetz and Donnie Bryson officiating with burial to follow at Garrett- Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
