Thomas Trull

Thomas Walter "PaPaw" Trull, age 91, died on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Mission Hospitals – Memorial Campus. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Ada Trull. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Edna Louise Singleton Trull, who died in 2007; a daughter, Carolyn Pitts; a son, Larry Trull; and a sister, Edna Pressley. He retired from American Enka with 37 years of services. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II. He is survived by two sons, Terry and Ronnie Trull of Candler; two daughters, Brenda Hall of Fletcher and Ellen Bowers of Cleveland, TN; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby, Reverend Warren Elliott, and Reverend Bobby Winebarger officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at his residence, 420 Curtis Creek Road.
