Waynesville-Timothy Blaine "Huggy Bear" Cochran, age 42, of 54 Anthony Street, surrounded by family, loved ones, and friends, left us to be with his heavenly father on Friday, December 23, 2005 after a brief illness at Memorial Mission Hospital. Born on May 7, 1963, he was the son of Louise Cochran and Marshall G. Caldwell and his wife, Ruth, all of Waynesville. He served in the US Air Force and was later the proud owner of his own business, TLC Karaoke Entertainment, Inc. and blessed many with his God-given gift of singing. He was an accomplished musician and songwriter, playing, as well as teaching, the guitar. He charmed and touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed, but his spirit remains alive and will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Passing before him was a brother, Eric Caldwell; maternal grandfather, Dwayne Robinson; paternal grandparents, Homer and Flora Caldwell; and an aunt, Rose Muse. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, affectionately known as "Nanny," Lou Ellen Robinson of Waynesville; the loves of his heart, Sherrie and Arden Hopper; uncles, Charles Robinson of Waynesville and Robert D. Robinson of Sumter, SC; aunt, Mae Bell Parham, also of Waynesville; and many cousins that he loved dearly. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend G.W. Jameson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
