Timothy Andrew "Drew" Pless

Timothy “Drew” Pless, 37 of Wimauma, Florida, formerly of Greensboro, North Carolina, entered into God’s Kingdom on January 28th, 2025. He was born in Lexington, North Carolina and had resided in Florida for the past 15 years.

He is predeceased by his father, Timothy Pless; grandfather, Howard Pless; and grandmother, Joan Bumgarner Pless.

He is survived by his loving wife, Toni Pless of Wimauma, FL; son, Gunner Pless of Clearwater, FL; brothers, Josh Pless (Mia) of Palm Harbor, FL, Sean Pless (Melissa) of Naples, FL; aunt, Risa Spradling (Sumner) of Browns Summit, NC; uncle, David Pless (Vickie Lynn) of Fair Bluff, NC; grandmother, Nina Sue of Lexington, KY; cousins, David Pless, Jr. (Crystal), Carrie Wilson (Chris); mother, Angela Rae (Shawn); and many other cousins and beloved friends.

He graduated class of 2005 from Western Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC. Drew loved the Lord and studying the Bible, and his favorite book was the book of James. In his free time, Drew could be found outdoors, fishing. Drew loved both college and professional football and basketball. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Timothy Andrew “Drew” Pless will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canton, NC with Pastor Perry Brindley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Inurnment and committal services will follow at New Cruso Church Cemetery.

In his memory, we would like everyone to wear Carolina blue and white to his service.

The care of Mr. Pless has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Canton as well as Brewer & Sons Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida.
