Timothy Stevenson

Waynesville, Timothy Lane Stevenson, age 56, of 111 Jaynes Cove Road, passed away on January 1, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late Lloyd Harley and Bobbie Ruth Hogan Stevenson. A graduate of Tuscola High School, he was an avid fly fisherman. He was a former employee of Laurel Ridge Country Club. He is survived by two aunts, Hilda Hannah and Shirley Stevenson, both of Clyde; three uncles, Wayne Stevenson of Hiawassie, Georgia, Cecil Stevenson and his wife, Connie, of Clyde, and Jack Hogan and his wife, Polly, of Tampa, Florida; numerous cousins; and his dog "Oscar." A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. T. David Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 prior to services at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Clyde, P.O. Box 356, Clyde, NC 28721.
