Timothy Lee Walsh, 55, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence with his wife, Dori Printz Walsh. He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio but had lived in Elizabethton from 1961 to 1974. He attended Elizabethton High School. Tim graduated with honors from Pisgah High School in Canton, North Carolina, then completed his associate's degree in Business. Tim was a master craftsman. He loved fabricating yard art with metals, restoring antique furniture and gardening. While living in Elizabethton Tim attended the Border View Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; Dori Printz Walsh; two step-daughters; Madison and Teal Woodard both of the home; his parents; Lee G. and Martha "Teen" Ward Walsh, Newberry, South Carolina; his sisters; Teresa Walsh-Murray and her husband, Glen, Danville, California, Donna Smith and her husband, Bryan, Kinards, South Carolina and Jeanie Chaffee and husband, Bryan, Newberry, South Carolina; his nieces, Stephanie Sutton, Kristen McKaskey, Katie Wieller and Ashley Chaffee ; one nephew, Drew Smith; five aunts; Helen Huffman, Mildred Winters, JoAnn Shumaker, Shirley Massey and Barbara Wooden; three uncles, Bert Walsh, Ray Walsh and Earl Walsh; four nieces and one nephew and several cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton. Burial will follow in the Walsh Family Cemetery, Butler. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
