Tina Hubbard

Waynesville, Tina Louise Hubbard, age 53, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at MedWest Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Butler, New Jersey, she had resided in Haywood County for the past 28 years. She was the daughter of Bobby Hubbard and stepmother, Vera Hubbard of Chatham, Virginia and the late Louise Hubbard of Waynesville. In addition to her father and stepmother, she is survived by a daughter, Ryanna Rivera and her husband, Joseph, of West Palm Beach, Florida; one son, Justin Ledford, of Waynesville; two sisters, Linda Guenter and her husband, Steve, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and Sharon Hubbard of Waynesville; two brothers, Robert Hubbard of North Carolina and Christopher Hubbard of Baltimore, Maryland; three nephews, Shannon, Jason, and Joseph; a niece, Maggie; and one great niece, Chelsea. Tina worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation Welcome Center. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. Tina also was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Daryl Hannah officiating.
