Tommie Brooks, Jr.

"1999 – 2015" Leicester – Tommie Lee Brooks, Jr., age 16, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of Tommie Lee Brooks, Sr. and Frankie Lee Southerland. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Lee Brooks of Fletcher and Lee Thomas Brooks of Leicester; and a maternal grandmother, Bertha Brooks of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Bryan Rhodarmer officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
