Tony Raines

Tony Raines, 64, of Asheville, passed away at home on Monday, August 15, 2011. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Troy and Betty Moore Raines. Tony was a carpenter and painter who loved to fish and be on a boat.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Buckner Raines; daughter, Lisa Raines; grandson, Michael; brother, Chuck Raines; sisters, Elefreda Langford of Marshall and Joyce Perry of Candler; stepson, David (Carlene) Buckner; step-grandchildren, Hayden and Austin Buckner; nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, August 18th in the Chapel of Faith of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards funeral costs, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, 1498 Sand Hill Road, Candler, NC 28715.
