Tracy Messer

Waynesville-Tracy Joanne Henson Messer, age 39, of 52 Norman Street, died on July 29, 2006 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Albert and Joanne Haney Henson. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Willard and Pat Haney and paternal grandmother, Margaret Chambers, who died in December 2005. She is survived by her husband, Willy Messer, and her lifetime companion, Robert Jacobs; one son, Blake Albert Early Henson, of Waynesville; two sisters, Cynthia Cooper and husband, Tommy, and Annette Hannah and husband, Randy, both of Waynesville; and one brother, Albert "Butch" Henson and wife, Teresa, of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2006 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Walter Sorrells and Reverend Doug Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services.
