Tristan Medford

TRISTAN G. MEDFORD Waynesville, Tristan Greg Medford, age 26, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010. Tristan was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, and the son of Renee Medford. He is preceded in death by a special friend Joel Noland. Tristan loved the outdoors; enjoyed working on cars and was a jack-of-all-trades. He was a very special person who was very caring and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of two years, Misty Nicole Medford; a sister, Rhiannon Medford and her fiancé, Mark Howell, of Waynesville; a brother, Micah McClure, of Waynesville; maternal grandparents, Vanita and Thad Medford, of Waynesville; uncle, Greg Medford; cousin, Hannah Medford and his special dog, Bahr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Charlie Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of Thad and Vanita Medford. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Howell, Micah McClure, Greg Medford, Terry Noland, Niels Dixon and Ronnie Morrow. Memorials may be made to Champion Credit Union, 311 Walnut Street, Waynesville, NC 28786 for friends to donate in his memory for his headstone.
