Trudy Carver

Clyde, Trudy Lynn Smith Carver, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of Sylvia Sue Farr and the late John Ross Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her Granny, Gladys Griffin.

Trudy enjoyed cooking and gardening.  Being outdoors and camping were favorite activities.  Above everything, she loved her family and making memories with them.

Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Dean Kirkpatrick; two dear daughters, Heather Gates and Jessica Smith; three sisters, Julie Borne, Myra Moses, and Traci Ford; four brothers, Greg Smith, Aaron Moses, Bill Moses, and Steven Moses, and her six precious grandchildren, Justice Lloyd, Erin and Addison Gates, Ava and Briella Kirkpatrick, and Legend Brinkley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

The care of Mrs. Carver has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
