Tulen Kirkpatrick

Waynesville-Tulen Davis Kirkpatrick, age 78, of 277 Davis Cove Road, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and life long resident of Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late Max Robert and Edna Crawford Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Kirkpatrick, who died in 1999, and by a son, T. R. Kirkpatrick, who died in 1982, and by two brothers, Roy and Robert Davis, and a sister, Hester Davis. She was a charter member of Ninevah Baptist Church. She and her sister, Esther McCall, were owners and operators of the McCracken Nursing Home for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Daugherty of Black Mountain; a sister, Esther McCall of Waynesville; five grandchildren, Steven, Christy, Sonya, and Chad Kirkpatrick, and Doug Crisp; two step-grandchildren, Bill Daugherty and Angela Ball; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. The Reverend Mike Leslie will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the services, at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
