Kenneth Tyler Fisher, age 17, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Kenneth Ray Fisher, who died in 2001. He was a student at the Alternative Learning Center in Waynesville. Tyler loved to play the drums and guitar. Regardless of how bad your day was going, Tyler always had the ability to make you laugh. Everybody loved Tyler. He always saw good in everything, was wise beyond his years, and never missed an opportunity to tell his family he loved them. He is survived by his mother and step father, Darlene Fisher Rogers and her husband, Robert, of Clyde; two sisters, Haley Reece and her husband, Clayton, of Canton and Kristin Hancock and her husband, Chris, of Indian Trail, North Carolina; a brother, Matthew Fisher and his wife, Leah, of Orlando, Florida; a step brother, Joe Rogers and his wife, Jennifer, of Clyde; nieces and nephews, Kamden Garrett, Kendric, Makena, Marissa, and Alexis Hancock, and Elizabeth and Oliva Fisher; and two step-nieces, Alex and Shelby Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the Canton Chapel Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Mack Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
