Vennoy Henson

Vennoy Henson, Jr. Canton - Vennoy L. "Chip" Henson, Jr., age 51, of Oakmont Drive, died Friday, May 16, 2008, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Buncombe County and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Glenna Miller Henson of Canton and the late Vennoy Henson. He was employed by Evergreen Manufacturing and enjoyed antique cars and attended car shows. Surviving in addition to his mother, are one sister, Brenda Henson of Canton; and special friend, Vicki Blankenship. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Christopher Willett officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford-Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his mother, 4680 Old Clyde Road.
