Verba Kay Norris

Verba Kaye Norris, age 71, of Clyde, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Silver Bluff Rehabilitation.  She was the daughter of the late Evelyn and Robert Norris.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger.   She was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church.  Verba spent her career as a certified nursing assistant at the VA Hospital in Oteen.   After retirement, she continued caregiving as she ministered to her aunts, Ruth Jones and Frances Swanger.   She is survived by a nephew, John Norris (Abbie) of Salt Lake City, Utah and two nieces, Zoe and Sophia.  Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Clyde on Friday, May 10 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Barry Willett officiating.
