Vergie Justice

VIRGIE J. JUSTICE

Waynesville-Vergie J. Justice, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Autumn Care Nursing Home.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ellen McDaniel Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Justice, who died in 1987; a son, Mike Justice who died in 1998; eight brothers; and one sister. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waynesville.

She is survived by three grandchildren, William Michael Justice, Heath Andrew Justice, and Heather Anne Justice; a special nephew, Lloyd Jones of Waynesville; special nieces, Grace West of Canton and Mary Ellen Smathers of Asheville; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 12, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend John Christy, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with nephews serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:00 Noon prior to the service.
