Vicey Strom

Vicey Elizabeth Church Strom, 84, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born in Grundy, VA to the late KC and Rosie Nichols Church and was a graduate of Grundy High School. Elizabeth was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was active in the Seniors Group and Nursing Home Visit Mission. She had fostered over 100 babies.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Anthony P. Strom; siblings, Flossie Wildermuth, Marie Linkous, Gertie Bucknam, Banner, Carl and Frank Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Carroll Elizabeth Baldwin, Holly Sue Davis and Cynthia Ann Strom; son, David John Strom; sister, Suby Church Ratliff; grandchildren, Holly Hardy, Donald "Ben" Baldwin, Suzanne Sheppard, and Walter Davis; great grandchildren, Beth Splatt and Haley Reece Davis and brother-in-law, Denny Ratliff.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 30th in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler with Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
