Vicki Kidd

Vicki Lee Harrison Kidd, age 57, formerly of 110 Skyland Terrace died Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of Joanna Moore Harrison of Canton and the late Bill M. Harrison. She had attended Western Carolina University and was employed with Champion International. Vicki will be remembered for her outgoing personality and generosity. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Wagner of Atlantic Beach; a son, Matthew Kidd of Raleigh; two sisters, Heather Harrison Mathews and her husband, Mike of Canton and Hope Harrison Andrews of Asheville; a brother, William Carey Harrison and his wife, Jenny of Canton; two grandchildren, Caleb Rollins and Justin Rollins both of Black Mountain and three special nieces and three special nephews. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton with the Reverend Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Broyhill Baptist Children's Home, 111 Sneed Drive, Clyde, NC 28721 or to a charity of one's choice.
