Vickie Brown

Waynesville, Vickie Ann Brown, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 26, 2008. A native of Denver, CO, she was the daughter of the late Linda Brown who passed away in 2007. Vicki was employed at Haywood Vocational Opportunities. She was survived by her stepfather, Noble Brown of Canton; half sister, Doris Stamey, and half brother, Noble Brown Jr., both of Waynesville; three aunts, Mary Ledford and her husband, Terry, of Waynesville, Connie Roberts, and her husband, Lester, of Canton and Shirley Franklin, and her husband, Roy, of Hartford, MI; three uncles, Lester Roberts, of Waynesville and Robert Avery and Thomas Avery, and his wife, Penny, both of Hartford MI; two nieces, Crystal and Nichole Stamey; other family, ARC of Haywood County, HVO and a special friend, Rick Cira. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Reverend Heath Davis officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at the home of Doris Stamey, 2255 Stamey Cove Road.
