Vincent Inman

Vincent L. Inman, age 63, of 1191 Edwards Cove Road passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of Howard T. Inman of Waynesville and the late Bertha I. Inman . He was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Duane Inman who passed away in 2003. He was employed with Haywood County Schools as a custodian at Meadowbrook Elementary School and as a bus driver. He retired in 1997 from Dayco International and was a member of the United Rubber Workers of America. Vincent was a United States Marine veteran serving in Vietnam. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Edwards Inman; a daughter, Angela D. Inman of Waynesville; a son, Anthony "Tony" C. Inman of Canton; three sisters, Velma Hollingsworth, Vera Brookshire and Vivian Green all of Waynesville; four brothers, Verlin "Peanut", Vick, Van and Vernon Keith Inman all of Waynesville as well as three grandchildren Branden, Sarah, and Emily Inman all of Fredricksburg, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Riverside Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Odom officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his father, Howard T. Inman, 1149 Edwards Cove Road. Pallbearers will be nephews, Tommy and Timmy Hollingsworth, Matthew Brookshire, Darren, Marty, and Jeffrey Inman and Travis Green.
