Virginia Towe

Virginia Mae 'Jenny' Towe, 86, of Candler, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17th. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Etta Mae Rhymer Hill. She was a faithful member of the Mountain View Church of God in Canton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marcella Lindsey and brother, Troy Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 71 years, James E. 'Jimmy' Towe, Sr; beloved children, Judy Moore and husband, Gene, Barbara Hannah and husband, Harold, Ernie Towe, Jr. and wife, Sheila and Jerry Towe and wife, Linda; brother, Paul Hill; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, January 20th at Mountain View Church of God in Canton with Rev. Herman Toney officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 until the service at church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
