Hendersonville-Virginia Lillian Bach Werner, age 91, died Sunday, October 03, 2004 at Pardee Hospital. A native of Chicago Illinois, her prior residence was Miami Beach, Florida. She lived in Hendersonville for the past seven years. She was the daughter of the late William and Elfrieda Brabandt Bach. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Henry John Beutel and her second husband, Leo Werner. She was an artist throughout most of her life, a fashion model and sang in clubs that were radio broadcast. She participated in volunteer work , was a social directress for a Miami Beach hotel chain, and a cruise director. She knitted booties and head warmers for Toastie Toes through the American Legion for servicemen overseas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that was always there for her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rogers and her husband, Jerry, of Waynesville and Deborah Weinflash and her husband, Joseph, of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Bobby Rogers, Sheryl Abad and her husband, Robert, and Mindy Hertzon; two great grandchildren, C. J. and Jessica Abad. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Waynesville.
