Vivian Edwards

Vivian Annette Edwards, age 62, loving daughter, sister, and friend, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at her residence. She was a former resident of Autumn Care where she was called their little "Queen Bee". She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of Frances Mintz Edwards and the late Roy Ellis Edwards. She was a member of Hazelwood Church of God. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Edwards Peyton and her husband, Lou, of Spartanburg, SC and Sharon Edwards Gaddis and her husband, Lesley, of Waynesville; special aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Mountain View Church of God with the Reverend Herman Toney, Reverend Johnny Cox, and Reverend Louis Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Pallbearers will be Tim Angel, Lesley Gaddis, Hugh Hannah, Johnny Hannah, William Howell, John Burnette, Dennis Queen, and Eddie Holland. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Price, Bill Price, Lou Peyton, and Laura Angel. Memorials may be made to Mountain View Church of God, P. O.
