Vivian Schaefer

March 19, 1932 — May 10, 2018

Clyde, Vivian Ann Warner Schaefer, age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her residence.

A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida Heim Warner; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Schaefer, who passed away in 2005, one sister and one brother. Vivian was a medical transcriptionist at Mountain Medical for many years. Vivian was a devout and loved parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church. The fellowship and friendships developed with her 80's Group, through church, was a tremendous blessing to her life. She will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Patsy is survived by her daughter-in-law and caretaker, Renate Schewe-Weeden, of Leander, Texas; three sons, Tom Schaefer, and his wife, Amy, of Shalimar, Florida, John Schaefer, and his wife, Lita, of Orlando, Florida and Jim Schaefer, of Penhook, Virginia; four sisters, Virginia Pagel, Jeanette Richards, Mary Biskobing, and her husband, Dick, all of Wisconsin and Ceil Winter, and her husband, Rich, of Colorado; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Becket Soule and Father James Cahill officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church fellowship hall.
