Vivian Watts

Vivian Alfredean Cole Watts, age 85, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Nell Parker Cole. She was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Cole. Dean adored her dogs, "Wilson" and "Mattie". She dedicated her life to being a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canton. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, G. C. Watts; four daughters, Sherry Coleman (Woody Fowler); Vicky Eavenson (Tommy), Kathy Yount (Cecil), and Nancy Johnson (Ron); a sister, Vera Warren; five brothers, Gene, Carroll, Dan, Dee, and Bobby Cole; two grandchildren, Tammy Hightower and Amy Howard; four great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Theresa Nelson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
