Wallace Medlin

Wallace Medlin, 82, formerly of Asheville , died Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Lynchburg, VA. He was born in Pickens County, SC to the late Edd and Rosa McCall Medlin. He worked in industrial construction for 45 years, working for Daniel, Brown & Root, Yeargin and retiring from American Enka. Wallace loved his Lord, his Family his Country and his Gospel Music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Betty Branson Medlin; brothers, Cleo, Ernest, Junior, Willis, and Donald Medlin and sisters, Magdeline Mann, Geneva Logan, Lucia Shaw, Eula Mae Carter & Martha Norwood
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Donny) Moorefield, Beverly (Jim) Kordonski and Jo Lynn Brown (Kenny); four grandchildren, Donny, Jr., Sarah, Jodi, and Heather; great grandchildren, Bradlee, Hailee, Hope, Zachery, Oliver and Charlie and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 11th in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
