Wanda Farmer

Canton - Wanda Lee Farmer, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center in Candler.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Laila Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reeves Everett Farmer, in 2008; one son, David Vinson Farmer, in 1999; and one brother, Fred Rogers.

She is survived by one daughter; Vickie Farmer Ensley and her husband, Thomas Richard, of Candler; one sister, Mary Ann Farmer and her husband, Raymond, of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Jason Ensley of Candler and Anniece Banks of Candler; and three great-grandchildren, Miceala Ensley, Landon Ensley, and Austin Banks.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
