Whitefoord Whitaker

Whitefoord A. Whitaker, 96, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Rev. Jesse and Bessie Roberts Whitaker. He retired from Gerber as an Inspector and enjoyed his retirement tinkering in his workshop.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Whitaker and siblings, Herbert, Harvey, Inez Clements and Dempsey Whitaker.
He is survived by his son, Reed Whitaker and nieces, Renne and Pam.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 31st at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
