Willard "Jeff" Reagan

Chuckey, TN, Willard Jefferson "Jeff" Reagan passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Signature Health Care of Greeneville, TN.

Jeff was a native of Haywood County, North Carolina, but resided in Chuckey, Tennessee in the later years of his life.  He was the son of the late Nolen Reagan and Sarah Lucille Mehaffey.  In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his five sisters, Mary Rogers, Effie Sue Bartenstein, Joyce "Snooky" Farmer, Carolyn Burress, and Maxine Farmer.  During his career he worked for Dayco, Enka and in South Carolina for approximately 15 years where he was employed as a supervisor.  Jeff also worked at Laurel Ridge Country Club for seven years.  He completed his employment at Mill Creek Country Club after five years then retired.  Jeff finished his service in the Army in 1965.  He was a member of the Hazelwood Baptist Church.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Warren; two sons, Paul (Brittanie) Reagan and Phillip (Arlissa) Reagan; his sister, Bobbi Gentry; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Buchanan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of NC, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.

The care of Mr. Reagan has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
