Waynesville, William Henry Bradley, age 87, of Little Lane, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. He was a native of Buncombe County and former resident of Maryland until moving to Haywood County in 1973. William was the son of the late R. Pearson and Ollie Lee Pennix Bradley. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Geneieve Mason Bradley, who died in 1975 and a brother, Rex Bradley. He was a former employee of Haywood Regional Medical Center where he worked in landscaping and lawn maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith and was a U. S. Army veteran serving in WWII. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Betty Little Bradley, two sons, William Henry Bradley of Flat Creek, NC; John Eugene Bradley of Stanley, NC; one step-son, Phillip Migliarini of Waynesville; one daughter, Pansy Ruth Wooten of Weaverville; one step-daughter, Jean Migliarini of Waynesville; one sister, Lucille Burleson of Weaverville; one sister-in-law, Clara Bradley of Greenville, SC; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Plott Cemetery-Saunook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 931, Wayesville, NC 28786 or to a charity of one's choice. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
