William Mcclure

William "Bill" McClure, age 65, of 513 Pinnacle Drive, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Arie and Willie Winchester McClure. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon McClure and Baby McClure and a sister, Phyllis McClure. He worked for 40 years in produce and the last 20 years at Ingles of Waynesville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and car racing and was a member of Balsam Ridge Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lillian Strickland McClure; two sons, Larry McClure and his wife, Linda, of Canton, Gary McClure and his wife, Karen, of Waynesville; two sisters, Wanda Kirkland and her husband, Mickey, of Canton and Freda Bailey of Middlesex, NC; two brothers, Phillip McClure and his wife, Jennifer, of Waynesville and Ricky McClure and his wife, Linda, of Waynesville; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Pastor Anthony Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb, T.
