William Randall

Sylva, William "Bill" E. Randall, age 67 passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010 at Harris Regional Hospital. He was a native of New Bern, NC and the son of the late James and Lucia Randall. He was a United States Air Force veteran, who served as a motion picture photographer with 20 years service. He was a life- time member and past commander of the VFW Post 5202 and the American Legion. He was also an active member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Randall; two daughters, Debbie Gaskins and her husband, Jimmy, of Charleston, SC and Sherry Choate and her husband, Chris, of Nashville, TN; one sister, Lucia Spratt and her husband, Tommy, of Greenville, SC; one brother, James Randall and his wife, Schrader, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Ashley and Madison Gaskins and Kathleen and Alex Choate. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 5202 Building Fund, 216 Miller Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
