William Floyd Rogers, age 70, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Mission Hospital, St. Joseph Campus. He was a native and lifetime resident of Haywood County. He was the son of the late Claude and Lillie Williams Rogers and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Reverend Claude Mills and Lee Mills. He retired from Dayco with 23 years of service, was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was the owner of Bethel Grocery. He was a man of many talents and a much beloved resident of Bethel. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wanda Inman Rogers; three daughters, Karen Keener and her husband, Marvin, of Canton, Anne Kilby and her husband, Lee, of Balsam and Pam Rogers and her husband, Mark Bryan, of Canton; a brother Charlie Rogers and his wife, Pat, of Waynesville; and five grandchildren, Angela Riddle and her husband Randy, Amber Keener, Cheyenne Keener, Cameron Kilby and Danielle Kilby. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2006, at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Memorials may be made to the Haywood County Rescue Squad, P.O.
