William Sprinkle, Jr.

Maggie Valley, NC /Sarasota, FL, William Thomas Sprinkle, Jr., age 74, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence.

A native of Tazewell, Virginia, he was a son of the late William Thomas Sprinkle, Sr. and Katherine Bales Sprinkle.  Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Vietnam ERA.  He was a Harley Davidson biker since he was a kid and enjoyed scuba diving.  Tom took great joy seeing things built.  He owned Crescent Beach properties with his wife, Ursula.

Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ursula Beilschmidt Sprinkle; two sons, William Thomas Sprinkle, III, and his wife, Lisa, of Bradenton, Florida and Steven Baden, and his wife, Suzanne, of Maggie Valley, sister, Mary Ruth Stout, and her husband, Wesley, of Florida; and a grandson, Ryan Sprinkle.

A celebration of life will be held in the fall in Florida.

The care of Mr. Sprinkle has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
