William Waidler

Waynesville-William Wilson Waidler, age 80, of Hawk Haven Cove, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather died Wednesday, August 06, 2003 after a short illness.

He was born in California and was the son of the late William J. and Leatia Graces Waidler. He was a graduate Cum Laude of Pace University and College of Insurance where he taught for several years. He was vice president and claims investigator for American International Group. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Cohn Waidler; two daughters, Susan Gallager, and her husband, Stanley of Spring Valley, NY and Barbara Whitchurch of Schenectady, NY; five grandchildren, David Gordon, Nathan Whitchurch, Randall, Leigh, and Alexis Gallager; and three great grandchildren, Aaron, Noah, and Coral Whitchurch.

Memorial services will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Maggie Valley with Father Frank Doyle officiating.
