Candler – William Frank Webb, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Sunrise at East Cobb.
A native of Candler, William was the son of the late Hugh and Florence Jamison Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Marie Webb, who died on August 9, 2018. William was also preceded in death by a sister, Joanie Yvone Comm. He retired from the Federal Government Core Engineers, where he devoted many years as their chief engineer. His work there provided him with the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, along with his beloved late wife, Ann. Although he considered each of these opportunities a great blessing, his trips to Germany were closest to his heart. William was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved working the land and finding arrowheads along his property; he often gifted these to family and friends. William knew the Lord and was a lifelong resident of Liberty Baptist Church in Candler. He cherished his family and was happiest when spending his time with them.
William is survived by two daughters, Teresa Brumfield and Sylvia Harrison and her husband, Chris; a sister, Deanie Blasingame; one brother-in-law, Wade Blasingame; two grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Farrell and his wife, Stephanie, and Amanda Hailey Bennett; four great-grandchildren, Travis Farrell, Keegan Farrell, Triston Farrell, and Damien Bennett; and one niece, Toni Blasingame.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC with Pastor Derrick McCarson officiating.
