Willie Hall

1928-2016 Canton – Willie Mae Lewis Hall, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St Joseph Campus. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Wade M. and Mamie Thompson Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, McKenneth J. Hall, who died in 1992 and three sisters. Mrs. Hall worked for several years in the cafeteria at Champion Papers. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Hall of Canton; two sons, James C. Hall of Hot Springs, NC and Ronnie Hall and his wife, Debbi, of Canton; three grandchildren, Tammy Rollins, Jason and Aaron Hall and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Memorials may be made to Gideons International – P.O. Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
