Willie Killian

April 29, 1919 — November 27, 2006

Lake Junaluska-Willie Fleming Killian, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and life long resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Nora Downs Rhinehart and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Reuben W. Fleming, who died in 1988; a daughter Elaine Rowland; three sisters:Venia Brown, Hazel Hipps and Elizabeth Gregory: and one granddaughter Michelle Abshire. Mrs. Killian was a homemaker and was a member of Longs Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of six years, Burton Killian; two sons Terry Fleming of Lake Junaluska and Donald Fleming and his wife, Roxanne, of Lewisburg, TN; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2006 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert E. Fuquay, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett -Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
