Wilma Bugg

Wilma June "Jean" Smith Bugg, of Chesnee, SC went home to be with her Lord and Savior March 3, 2016 at the age of 77. Wilma was born in Haywood County, a daughter of the late James Frank and Thelma Maxine Langley Smith. She was a longtime resident of Buncombe County prior to moving to Chesnee, SC. Wilma was an active member of Piedmont Baptist Church of Chesnee, SC and was truly loved by all that knew her. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James David Smith; sisters-in-law, Viola Smith, and Franklin Gillin and Karen Jones.
Wilma is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, James Clyde Bugg; brothers, Bob Smith of Hendersonville and LJ Smith and his wife, Marilyn, of Clinton, Michigan; sister-in-law, Rise Smith of Trenton, Michigan. Wilma was a loving mother to her children, Jeffrey and his wife, Rebecca Bugg of Boiling Springs, SC, Johnny Gillin and Neal Ganem of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, David and his wife Debbie Gillin of Ft. Pierce, FL, Kathy Montague of Candler, Gail Whiting of Jonesborough, TN and Steve Gillin of Candler; step-children, Donnie Bugg of Hendersonville, Lonnie "Red" Bugg of Mission Hill, SD and Cindy Harmon of Leicester; 21 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and grand-dog, Prada.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7th in the Chapel of Faith from 7-9PM. Entombment will follow the service on Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
