Cruso, Winifred Louise "Jimmy" Neyman, age 90, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Memphis, TN and was the daughter of the late Paul James and Winifred Blann Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Eugene Neyman, Sr. in 1985. She retired from Greenville Mills with 30 years of service and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Greenville, MS and Cruso United Methodist Church. Winifred was a woman of God who was an active member of her church participating in Sunday school and small groups throughout her life. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Winifred was a gracious and loving individual with a special place in her heart for all her family. She is survived by two sons, Jesse E. "Jempy" Neyman, Jr., and his wife Tia of Houston, TX; John Neyman and his wife Deanne of Cruso, NC; two daughters, Linda Neyman and Windy Neyman, both of Cruso, NC; two sisters, Martha Hollowell and Mary Howse, both of Greenville, MS; two brothers, James Dawson "Flip" Phillips and his wife Rouchell and Billy Blann Phillips and his wife Earlene, all of Greenville, MS; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Greenville with the Reverend Gary L. Howse officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38148.
