W.L. House, Jr.

W.L. House, Jr. born March 10, 1937, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. He was the son of the late Winnie Lee and Viola House. He was a longtime member of Inanda Baptist Church where he served many years as a deacon. He was a self-employed electrical contractor since 1971 until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Ralph, and William, his sisters, Edna, Elizabeth, Annie, Dorothy, and Betty.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maxine; his son, George and his wife, Karen; his son, Terry and his wife, Lisa; a daughter, Beverly and her husband, Tommy; a granddaughter, Megan and her husband, Dylan; and great-granddaughter, Isla.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler, NC with Reverend Anthony Messer, Pastor of Inanda Baptist Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice Solace Center, 21 Belvedere Road, Asheville, NC 28803.

The care of Mr. House has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Candler.
