Yvonne Malone

Waynesville, Yvonne Lorraine Malone, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at The Homestead. A native of San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Helen Katherine Ross Peeler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ret. Col. Dandridge "Mike" Malone, who died in 1995 and a brother, William Peeler, Jr. Yvonne's generous and selfless spirit will always be cherished. She was 100 percent devoted to her family and will forever be loved. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Macon and her husband, Nathaniel, of Bryson City, Patricia Collins and her husband, Robert, of Ellijay, Georgia, and Erin Corbin and her husband, Fred, of Hampton, Virginia; one son, Michael Malone, of Hampton, Virginia; a sister, Lee McEaddy, of Statesville, two brothers, Ross Peeler and his wife, Ruth, of Fort Myers, Florida and Randy Peeler of New Port Richie, Florida; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Graveside services and burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
